Fury (Fritz Lang)

I'm pissed. This was on TCM OnDemand and I was looking forward to watching it before the poll. By the time I casually settled in to watch it, it was gone. Dagnabit.

We're going to have to put you in jail and set it ablaze.

So A Day in the Country topped three ballots, but came in behind three films that got only one top position vote each. How about that.

I was thinking the same thing. It is this year's Persona. I get the math because the films ahead of it had more representation. It's just weird to see.

Another century complete. Thanks Vorn.

After all.....
A fine list imo (even though my personal list had some glaring omissions). Thanks Mr. Vornporn!

A title that I hated to cut from my list but I did so anyway because I wanted to show some support for some fond features is the following. I'm down with PRO for:

Regardless of being pipped at the post, having a short film in the top 5 is unheard of isn't it?

I've just had a check through some other classics...
SCORPIO RISING only made the top ten because I placed it top.
MESHES came 8th.
DUCK AMUCK was 18th.
LA JETEE made 9th.
ONE FROGGY EVENING was an orphan.
NIGHT AND FOG was 12th.
WOODCARVER STEINER got no votes at all.

And, of course, in this poll POPEYE AND SINBAD was an orphan.
