The sheep again? I'm just a populist man. At least Yancy is right along board with me.

I can't recall if I've ever been the sheep before. Guess I should have kept all those manly man titles after all.

52t. Blues According to Lightnin' Hopkins, The (TBickle #14)

I'd highly recommend checking this one if you haven't. It's one of Les Blank's better short docs, although not quite as good as '78s Always for Pleasure. It's available on Hulu and only ~45 minutes long. Pretty unique portrait of a bluesman and the poor rural town in which he lives that I'd never seen outside of literature.

I didn't realize it was 68 or I probably would have included it. Although it might have just missed the cut. That would have made two Les Blank docs in my top 40.

Feel bad about not making time for these. I actually started watching The Immortal Story, but was so depressed about the dubbing issues that seem to mar so much of Welles' work, that I turned it off, intending to come back, but didn't get around to it.

After all.....
42t. Producers, The (TBickle #12, Guy #19)

Isn't this a '67 film or did I miss some eligibility modifications? This would have made my list.

52t. Blues According to Lightnin' Hopkins, The (TBickle #14)

Will definitely be checking this one out.

28. Monterey Pop (Russ #4, Cassius #14)

I will have to revisit this....my memories of it could just be residuals from playing that album to death.

It always used to be 1968, but obviously I didn't check Imdb. I guess I cost Rosemary's Baby a #20 vote, although I'm sure it'll do fine without me.

Yeah, it didn't get any votes in our 1967 poll, so it was eligible for this one.

Producers would have been top 5-7 for me as well, damn my not realizing! (Cause I only use CDDB, and it's '67 now)
