Reminds me of that Best Song of the Aughts poll we did that time, and Rachel and I steamrolled an obscure Joe Strummer song from the Mr. and Mrs. Smith soundtrack into the top 20.

23. About Elly (Yancy #4, vornporn #10, Aaron #20)

If I was more organized I would have caught this one.

I can't help but believe it would have cracked the list if more of us had seen it.

Unless! Sharon sent in a partial list...not because she hasn't seen enough films, but because there has never been a year where she liked 20 movies :P

My daughter is wondering why no one has named I Am Here... Now (Neil Breen, 2009) to their list. She's weird.

So I added it to the db. Neil Breen seems to be some sort of genius.

A couple of the FB movie forum kids are always going on about Breen, who I assume is a Tommy Wiseau-level auteur, but I've yet to Google him.

Yeah, she mentioned Wiseau as well. We were bonding watching clips and reviews of their stuff.

These two, plus Ed Woods, seem to make a common grouping in awful BM auteur discussions. (And our whole discussion started with her asking me if I liked M. Night Shyamalan. Go figure, but I guess it's not too much of a stretch)
