This feels new, so many #1s for a film that lands at only #10...?

me
from the last consensus poll

Maybe we should have a powerball outlier to the consensus results with a single vote for the movie most likely to make the top twenty that you'd rather poke out your eyes than see in the final list.

My vote would be Fight Club. I actually thought that it would have been in the top two or three. Ugh...

I . . . don't have one this year. The only ones in the poll that I didn't vote for are ones I haven't seen, and The Limey, which I thought was a pretty good movie.

Thumbs up times a million.

Keep in mind I am CON on both The Matrix and Topsy-Turvy. Nevertheless I'd rather watch a double bill of those two than watch Fight Club again. Still one of my most hated movies of all time, and probably as angry as I've ever been walking out of a theater.

I have never seen Fight Club, but I feel like I have due to all the students over the years who have mentioned it in essays.

Four of my CONs for 1999:

Election (Alexander Payne, 1999): CON
Matrix, The (Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowski, 1999): CON
Blair Witch Project, The (Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez, 1999): CON
Talented Mr. Ripley, The (Anthony Minghella, 1999): CON
