Meryl Streep is, once again, headlining the news. What are your top ten performances from Streep (#1 being the best)? Just post here and I'll tally the results on Friday the 13th.

8. Defending Your Life

This was a hard one to leave off. I saw it again last year and found her utterly captivating.

No thanks. She may have been brilliant in it, but I don't know if I could bring myself to watch it again. Maybe in another ten years or so.

I'm pretty sure Angels in America would make my list, but I still have the final installment to watch.

Still time to submit a list. Partial lists are fine too.

And because Meryl Streep is mentioned, here's this:

Speaking of Mom...

We actually had that movie on Laserdisc. It caused a huge argument between my parents. Dad bought it for Mom, but she hated the movie. (They saw it in theaters.) Mom got mad because Dad forgot, and he spent money on this Laserdisc.

It would be like me buying Sully for Aaron on some newfangled, expensive medium. :D

I still haven't seen it. lol.

Change your title already
1. 2017 Golden Globes speech
2. The Devil Wears Prada
3. The French Lieutenant's Woman
4. The Bridges of Madison County
5. The Deer Hunter

No real preferences beyond that, but somebody needs to mention August: Osage County for creating such a slimy villain.

Julie & Julia
The Devil Wears Prada
The Bridges of Madison County
Silkwood

Defending Your Life
The Iron Lady (terrible movie, though...)

The order would probably be different tomorrow.
