Thanks y'all. :D
Glad Reba is around.

That Caitrina Hunter looks familiar. I think that she had a run-in with Reba in some thread but I could not find it. That is probably why she has Reba as her "Interesting Person". If she is not an official Mac Posse member, then she is a wannabe.

Click on members at the top of the page and you can see who has joined so far. Really, for me, it's not so much issues on Amazon than I prefer better designed forum with more perks.

Both are free, just one you can do more.

I agree with Essielou and C. Vowels.
This forum set-up is definitely more organized and easier to navigate. It has more of that "forum" feel that most forums have.
I like the smilies...is there any way to get more variety of smilies? Just wondering. :P
I will probably lurk around Amazon forums, and only post when I feel like it.
I like it here better.
:D

Please DO keep posting at Amazon, I just found the Reba/DAM thread today. After 2 hours of following threads all over the web, my NSHO is NO, you haven't taken this too far. Something seriously needs to be done about DAM's behaviour. What, because this all happened online and not in person, that makes it ok, and it should be just blown off as insignifigant?! I don't bleeding think so!
Not only that, if I had had any idea about the review situation, I would have taken the majority of my business elsewhere.
I find DAM's childishly condescending atitude and criminal threats to be beyond disgusting. I burned her books in my woodstove tonight, I refuse to support someone so base. Amazon's behaviour through this hasn't been one whit better!!!

Off with their heads. executioner

Thanks for the support.
I will keep lurking at Amazon and I will continue to post in the thread pertaining to the MacGillivray issue (its like 500+ posts now). Because I agree with you. Those who haven't been regular posters or don't know about this issue have no idea what's going on.

I didn't put my toe in the water until the Orion thread. That was when I felt the need to express my thoughts. Overall, I think everybody was pretty respectful of each other. I felt it started going downhill when a certain poster started in on the personal attacks and name calling. I went back a couple times and re-read her posts and most of what she says doesn't even make sense in the context of what we were discussing.

It's like everybody has pretty much said already...it wasn't even so much about the deleted reviews/Amazon's handling of the incident although that was despicable in every sense of the word. More than anything, it is mostly about the internet harrassment!! What was done to Reba was shameful and I could only put myself in her place and wonder how I would have felt. Nervous and scared come to mind immediately.

I love all the emoticons and the "cute" fun stuff. (It's the simple things in life ya know!?) So thanks again for a "soft place to land"!

Oh my gosh Montanawyse, I get amused a lot about postings, but rarely laugh out loud, and that was a genuine lol. Good to know you got a little value back from the things by keeping your house warm for a few minutes. ;)
