I just went over to amazon to check things out. Soemthing has happened. There used to 1023 active discussions in the romance forum. Now there are 90. Some that I remember reading a few weeks ago, Virgin heros, Sebastien St. Vincent, have distinctly fewer posts than previously. Did they wipe the whole board to eradicate any negative Commentary? Am I crazy? Someone check and confirm this please! |

I know it's childish but I still have the urge to click over to amazon and say nah, nah, a boo boo, we have a better group than you do!!!! I just can't help but wonder if those people who really started the bashing with posting against other members , just didn't want control of the forum. I saw where on another topic some had said that they probably thought we were a threat because so many of the same people posted and how opinionated we could be.you would think they would notice that the people who posted the most had the most book knowledge. Oh and it still says 1,023 but ALOT of people have deleted there post but you can't delete a topic unless it is voted off. I thought about deleting my post but decided to leave them in case they might help others!!! I am not ashamed of what I said on there. |

I didn't see that thread. You know, some people just post more and have more to say, nothing wrong with that! Sheesh, people take things way too personal. Some people apparently also thought they "owned" the forums there. While me and a few others that posted regularly didn't think that, obviously some did. For me, I post a lot because I like to talk a lot in the "real world" and it filters over into the "online world". It seems they are still bitter over it all. |

I figure I must ahve ended up in the wrong forum by mistake. I am directionally impaired. Usually it only manifests itself in the real world, but perhaps my flaws are becoming manifest in the cyberworld now too. Directionally impaired Story # 1 Once, while working at an outlet mall in COlorado, I went into the food court for lunch. There was a wide corridor leading to the restrooms. THe ladies swerves off to the right , the mens to the left. I entered the food court from the opposite direction as normal, and yeah... with my nose stuck in a book, wandered into the mens room by mistake. Because my good fairy has never been around in times like this, it was quite well occupied. I looked up , blinked, burried my now red nose back in my book, and wandered in accelerated mode across the right way. |

Noooo! You can't do that, just give teasing hints and then not say anything. Now you've done it. I have to know. You'll kill me with the wondering and curiousity.

Well, my class has gone on the same field trip to the same ranch for the last eight years. Guess how many times I got lost driving my group up there? |

Directionally Impaired Story # 2 When My husband and I first met, it was on the phone. WE talked for several months before deciding to meet. I gave him directions to get to a Christmas Party I was attending. He arrived around 1 aM. Seems my directions led to Wyoming. |
