I love it. See how easily entertained I am? It comes from teaching nine year olds. Believe it or not, there was a time I could carry on an intellectual conversation. Of course, that was pre romance novel days when I was reading Steinbeck, Hemingway and Renaissance Literature for fun. ...
But I'm blaming it on the nine year olds. No way am I giving up my books.

Oh heck, romance books are far far better than all that other stuff.

I read those because I had to, not because I enjoyed them.

Ditto.

I have read some classics for pleasure (and I have a few on my TBR pile too), but when it come to pure escapism pleasure, romance is one of the genres I read. :P
