Does anybody have any suggestions for holiday themed contemporary and/or historical books for December? We've still got plenty of time for the historical poll, but the contemporary discussion is sneaking up on us, so suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ![]() Here are the non-winning choices from last year's polls, just to refresh your memories: Contemporary: To All a Good Night by Donna Kauffman, Jill Shalvis and HelenKay Dimon I'm Your Santa by Lori Foster, Dianne Castell and Karen Kelly A Very Merry Christmas (Twins' Bad Boys) by Lori Foster, Gemma Bruce and Janice Maynard Under The Mistletoe: Bluebird Winter\Naughty Or Nice? by Linda Howard and Stephanie Bond All Through the Night: A Troubleshooter Christmas (Troubleshooter #12) by Suzanne Brockmann A Virgin River Christmas (Virgin River #4) by Robyn Carr Historical: A Historical Christmas Present by Lisa Kleypas, Leigh Greenwood and Lynsay Sands A Bride By Christmas by Heather Graham, Jo Beverly and Candace Camp A Homespun Regency Christmas by Carla Kelly, Emma Jensen, Sandra Heath and Amanda McCabe Snowy Night with a Stranger by Jane Feather, Sabrina Jeffries and Julia London Edited by BookJunkie, Nov 14 2009, 09:53 AM.

I did a little poking around to see if there were any new holiday releases this year that looked interesting. Most of what I found was paranormal, but I did find one contemporary and one historical (both anthologies). The contemporary is That Holiday Feeling by Debbie Macomber, Sherryl Woods, and Robyn Carr. The Macomber and Woods stories are rereleases, but the Robyn Carr story is a NEW Virgin River Christmas story. The historical is The Heart of Christmas by Mary Balogh, Nicola Cornick, and Courtney Milan. This one also has two rereleases (Balogh and Cornick) and the Milan story is new. |

I have a few of these because I pick up every Christmas romance I can find at Target ![]() I think any of them would be good. I read Virgin River Christmas last year but it is part of the Virgin River series though I think you would be okay reading it even if you haven't read the series yet - which I highly recommend, the first three books were just wonderful. They are set in a small town in Northern California and have wonderful characters. |
