Here's a suggestion to narrow down the selection - why don't we try a month where all the books are by authors that have never been picked for a circle book before? If we do that we'll narrow down the choices a bunch, but still leave plenty of books that people have showed an interest in previously. |

OK, so what do we want to include? I am only seeing four new authors on the list, if you count Elizabeth Jennings who is Lisa Marie Rice (or Lisa Marie Rice is Elizabeth Jennings )

I'm seeing 3 (4 if you count Elizabeth Jennings) that have never been a Contemporary choice in the Previous Vote Getter section, but there are several more in the No New Votes section. There are 2 (Erin McCarthy and Elizabeth Lowell) that have been choices in another genre, but not contemp. My suggestion would be to leave those 2 off (just to shorten the list). That would leave us with: Robyn Carr Susan Mallery and then pick another 2 or 3 from: Suzanne Brockman Toni Blake Karen Robards Marliss Melton Mary Margret Daughtridge Suzanne Enoch BTW - Marliss Melton (Forget Me Not) is on the No New Votes list twice. ![]() Edited by BookJunkie, Jan 4 2010, 05:39 AM.

I bet it has been voted on twice then. Especially since I have it listed differently. Must have snuck by me! Just name what you want and you will get it! Within reason of course!

Well, I can't get the Seahawks into the playoffs... But I can get your suggestions into the vote! Yeah, I have that kind of power.

You had to go and bring that up, didn't you! Oh, well, the writing's been on the wall long enough that I'm pretty much over it by now - at least I have a good second choice to root for! ![]() As for what books I want, how about this - the only one I really would rather not see on the list is One Summer by Karen Robards. I don't have it, and it's not available as an ebook (yes, I've gotten spoiled - if I have to buy a book, I'd much rather it be an ebook). All of the others (including the other Karen Robards - Guilty) I either have already or can get the ebook (I didn't spend quite all my micropay money at Fictionwise during their sale ). The other thing is for the Susan Mallery book I would recommend Delicious over Under Her Skin. Both are the first book in a series and I enjoyed both, but the Lone Star Sisters series is VERY interconnected, and Under Her Skin leaves a lot of fairly significant threads of storyline hanging that are cleaned up in the later books of the series. Beyond those two suggestions, I'm up for anything! |
