|Daisy, Where R You?; Looking for the Title/Author of a book I read|

A couple of years ago, I read a book that had a main character Daisy who suddenly decided she needed a lifestyle change. I believe she was a librarian. She lived with her mother and her aunt. She has some very funny run ins with the local law enforcement (Sheriff maybe?). The book made me laugh out loud in several places. One scene I remember had to do with her buying a box of condoms not because she was dating anyone, but because she wanted to get the word out that she was open to the idea.
I cannot remember the name of the book or the author. I think the paperback cover was white, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help me figure this out?
There was a mystery in the background dealing with someone who was giving women date rape drugs in a local hangout.

|OMG - for once I know! Or at least I'm pretty sure I know. This sounds just like Open Season by Linda Howard. It was the first book I read by her and it was so great!|
