Even though the episode was two days ago, I wanted to post this. I adored this eposide for its simplicity, as well as the humor that, after such a long hiatus, was needed to drown out what might be to come.

I adored that Sam was the first to get bleeped (though Dean's one finger salute was awesome!). And ... I never realized just how low his voice could go until they were in that crazy ghosts bomb shelter and he was trying to wake up the gay guy (forgot his name!) It made me squee!!!

And the magnets at the end ... Gotta love Sammy's brain!

It was Corbett and I was grateful for this episode. It was..less of a downer than the previous episodes. We can't always have doom and gloom. The humor is one of the things that got me addicted to the show in the first place.

I can't wait to see how things go from here.

As I have stated else where I surprised myself and enjoyed this , I actually admire the show for trying this , and it doesnt hurt to have a lighter episode before the angst.

I actually enjoyed the "Blair Witch" feel to it. And was amused that Sam was the first to cuss. And wasn't he sexy with blood dripping down his face?

I thought I was going to hate it but I didn't. I enjoyed it although I can't say it's ever going to make my list of favourites. But I did love the teeny tiny bit of Hurt Sam we got, loved him saying 'Dean' after Dean found him in such a weary, hurt, relieved voice and I loved all Dean's 'SAMMY'S!!!!'. *Happy sigh*

And I loved Sam's barely repressed panic...Dean has only 2 months left and Sam did not want to risk losing those 2 months with his brother by going to this house. *Hugs Stressed!Sam*

It didn't take me long to disagree did it

I really didn't like this episode.

Now let me explain why.

With only four episodes of the season left and a rather huge amount of storyline hanging in the air regarding a whole host of things, I thought the air time could have been spent on something much more worthwhile.

Did I hate the concept or idea....no.

In a normal 22 episode season I would have been fine with it, taken it as what we've got and sat their waiting for this weeks one instead. It felt like a Hollywood babylon for me (just better), where it was a nothing, standalone episode which held no impact. Now considering the entire season was cut down to just 16 episodes (which I know I shouldn't grumble at, but all I can think about is the wasted chance this season was given), and the final four was this batch until that long old wait until September...I wanted something more.

I remember watching it and thinking, out of all the standalones episodes left this was the one they chose ? I think I would have had that rumoured one Kripke talked about in S2 about the boys switching bodies in S3 (anyone remember that ?), I think that would have been much more funny...but that's just MO.

As for a break from the angst by using this episode before the heavy ones kick in...nah, considering the very stop-start feeling this season has had (which I can't blame Kripke and co for), I would have used these final four episodes to lure us back into the main story arcs and even remember to poke at the ones we've all but forgotten about for S4.

But ho-hum, what can you do.

I have to say that I loved this episode! I found it very refreshing. The whole idea of the *bleeping* was genius. It was kinda humorous to see the boys have such dirty mouths. (Maybe they could use some Orbit gum...LOL)

Glad they brought Ed and Harry back. I love those two little nerds...LOL (I think I secretly have a crush on Harry....shhhh) ;)

Oh Tash ... you are allowed to disagree! And I have to agree with you on something ... with only 4 episodes left, and this season being 6 episodes short ... they could have gone with a more intense episode.

I adored the episode however, and thought Sam's voice when he was telling whatshisname (I keep forgetting!) to get up was just ... *SWOON!*
