I am still ... shocked! There was so much about his episiode that made me want to hug the boys. So much that they are trying to do in such a short time. Sam standing up to Dean ... "You can't stop me." Dean tracking Bela's stupid ass down. Am I the only one that is thrilled that she might be dead? God I hope so! And while I felt a wee bit sorry for her, her dad molesting her, but ... she shot Sam, she stole the colt, and tried to kill them both! I was so happy Dean came in and shot the doc! How dare he call Sam Sammy! And next week ... what can I say? *sigh!* |

Everything was spot on ,SPN at its best Sam was just amazing, desperate, heroic and well he was just everything A 10/10 episode for me , but no more eye gauging attempts and he was so dammned pretty it was scary. Bela , she would of killed Sam and Dean, hard to feel for her. |

Dean was right, if she had only come to them, they would have helped her. Now stupid Lillith has the Colt ... wants Dean's soul ... and wants Sam dead. |

I LOVED last night's episode. Both boys looked incredibly hot last night. Not that they don't in every other epi, but I just, well, wallowed in their gorgeousness last night. Loved the exchange between Sam and Dean when Dean was eating. Jared looked like he was having a REALLY good time. Could hardly keep a straight face. hehehe Slicy McHacky (LOL) aka Doc Benton was a stupendously creepy bad guy. Kudos to Eric and the writers there. And yeah, that eyeball thing--wow. Many, many kudos to Jared for the acting there. Can't imagine having to lay strapped down on a table with my eyes taped open like that. (And I've actually had surgery on my eye for a detached retina wherein they probably DID tape my eye open. Thank goodness I was knocked out.) OH, and I knew Bela's end was coming and I loved how the writers took care of it. Very fitting. GOODBYE, Bela. YAY! All in all, a wonderful episode. |

Awesome eppy! Two thumbs up! Definitely one of my faves of S3! I do always hate it when Sam and Dean split up though. Makes them so very vulnerable. I thought for sure since Dean's going to hell anyway that he would have blown Bela away. Thank goodness he didn't though. She got her up-and-comance the way she should have. OK, ewwww. Sam's eye almost being gouged out with a melon baller......I almost fainted. Yay for Dean shooting Doc Creepy! I loved the hermit hunter. He was an excellent addition. He and Dean played off of each other very well. All in all it was a 10 for me! Can't wait for next week! |

I absolutely loved this episode. Jeremy Carver took over from SG as my favourite writer for SPN this year but with this episode and FB this year, Sera Gamble's right up there with him....well, a smidge below any way. Both boys tore my heart to shreds in this episode, both of them so terrified of Dean's impending fate. Sam is so agonizingly desperate, willing to try anything that will either save Dean's life or buy them a bit more time to find a proper solution. Sam wanting to cling to the hope the Doc offered but then accepting and adhering to his brother's wishes ...oh Sammy! I was so proud of him for letting it go even though it could well mean letting his brother go too. Sam's face as they began to bury the Doc and another possible way out of the deal along with him had me sniffling into my hankie. And Dean refusing to accept the life that the Doc's methods offered him, refusing to welch on the deal. *Hugs boys.* I loved the Big Brother Dean we got in this episode. I loved how he told Sam he wasn't going to let him go out to hunt the bad guy alone and I loved how he told Sam to be careful when he left to see that Rufus guy and I loved Sam's teary eyes in response. I also loved Sam's 'how are you going to stop me?' too...standing his ground against his big brother and coming out of his little brother role. Rufus was wonderful. He can come back again. Please. And Bela...well, I'm certainly not sorry at all to see her go but she was way more tolerable in this episode than in all her other appearances. I was intrigued to hear that she was asked to kill Sam, I wish we'd seen some of this intent of hers over the season. It would certainly have made me interested in seeing her turn up in an episode. But maybe this was something else lost to the writers strike. The gore was...well...gory. I couldn't handle the thing with Sam's eyes. Anything to do with eyes has me squirming so I was behind a cushion at that point. And the whole buried alive thing is my number one nightmare, that had me in a bit of a cold sweat too. So, yeah, I loved it. A lot. :cheer Jared and Jensen were fantastic as usual. And to paddle in the shallows, dear God, Jared/Sam gets more delicious with each passing week. The whole hair tucked behind the ear thing...dearie me...so very, very hot...:thud |

I think them killing Bela was the fans reaction to her. No one really liked her. Though honestly, I liked how she went out. But, had she come to them, they would have helped her. Sam was ... absolutely delicious and adorable. Everything I have come to love about him was present in this episode. And Dean ... what can I say? I adore protective big brother Dean. But, as a side thought ... how must Sam feel when Dean says 100% human or nothing ... when he has demon blood.

Hard I would think , which leads me to believe that he is less likely to tell Dean? I just feel poor Sam is in a lose/lose situation here , his losing himself to save Dean , he will lose even more in the finale to save Dean and become a Sam we dont know? because this is about sacrifice and thats what he will do... |

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I have truly loved S3 much more than S2 but the fact that there's been no mention about this demon blood issue or Sam's thoughts/feelings on it has had me practically screaming. I want to know what's going on in that freaky head of his about all this.

Well, even though Sam was an innocent in all of this, so was the girl in DMB who got turned to a vamp, so was Madison in Heart. They were both human ... and changed. Will Dean see Sam as supernatural now? I should ... start a new thread on this theory! |

This eppie rocked!!! We finally learn who Bela really is. It's said what happened to her, but after she tried to kill our boys I didn't feel too bad when the hounds were howling. You reep what you sow. Once again, Sam gets captured and tied up. It kind of reminded me of his character Wade in HoW. Only Jared can look so beautiful when he's tied to a table. I was a little squicked when it looked like the doc was going to cut out Sam's eye. Yeah for Dean coming to the recuse. Who else liked Rufus? Steven Williams is a great actor and I hope that we see Rufus again. |
