JB to play another tough cookie ;)

“The actor will guest-star as John Franklin Fry, “a hard-ass, whip smart Texas Ranger who allies with Miles,” describes Kripke.

Beaver’s installment, titled “One Riot, One Ranger,” marks new consulting producer and ex-Supernatural scribe Ben Edlund’s first writing credit on the show (alongside co-EP David Rambo). The episode will air in mid-October”

Traitor! :pow Joking :D. Good for Jim and he’s guest starring on BE’s first credited episode.

Mark Pellegrino (am I spelling that right?) was on it last season too. And one of the women from Lost. So apparently Kripke and JJ are rounding up favs...

Don't forget Colin Ford also guested a character on Revolution :D .

I read a comment a few weeks, maybe even six-ish weeks ago, where - it might have been Kripke himself who said it - that [Revolution] was not above snaking "talent" (writers/directors/recurring actors) from Supernatural if that's what it took to make Revolution the "cult/'genre' success" that SPN is now.

I'm naturally only being snarky about JB/MP/CF "doing" Revolution - they're all professional actors, and had no 'locked in' contracts to not do other shows/movie work as long as it didn't directly conflict with other scheduled work. Colin has to be available as a regular on S2 of UTD but he should be able to schedule other work around UTD's filming schedule. Mark P is to be a regular on TTP but who knows if the show will get a full season pick up atm.

TBH, I don't either - not without checking CF's "IMDB page" to see what episode he was in - but that's not CF's fault, it's Revolution's ... I think it's just a weak, unmemorable show. I haven't even watched the S2 premiere yet - it's waiting on my DVR.

I like Revolution ... but I can definitely tell where JJ had control, and where EK had control. EK is about to 'Kripke' the show!
