A towering church in Ahto City is full of mourning people today, as the beloved Volk Naasta`rono passed away four days ago, among his colleagues, after fighting a long battle with bad health. The church of full local Selkath, and many friends and colleagues of Naast inside. In the center of the beautiful church is a casket, light through the stained glass shining onto it. Above the casket, in front of the stained glass is a viewscreen showing pictures Naast throughout his life appearing on the screen. Curiously one of the stained glass window panes had been removed for the funeral, leaving one to only guess why. As Mike Que-Kara begins the final preparations in laying his brother-in-arms to rest, the final minutes before the funeral start to tick away. |

Kanti had obviously heard about Naast's failing health. it had been shocking to hear. She had always thought her mentor was, for better terms, invincible. She knew that wasn't true of course, but out of all things that would take him down she would have thought it would be some fiery explosion. Although he had been a little to good at those kinds of things to ever let it kill him. While she had learned everything she knew combat wise from the Chiss, she could never compare to him. When she entered the the church, she pulled her black coat around the rest of her black clothing. She looked around, a small smile coming to her face at the memories of past visits with Naast and Mike. The next thing her eyes rested on was the casket and a lump grew in her throat. She took a deep breath to make sure she didn't let any tears fall yet. She forced her eyes to look else where and she found Mike quite easily. She continued to walk, heading towards Mike with her arms wrapped around her n an almost protective manner. "Hey there Fishy..." She said with a sad smile that she really wished she could have met him again on better circumstances but it couldn't be helped... |

As the funeral service was ready to begin, Mike noticed the church was near empty and the crowd was slowly thinning out. Soon it was just himself left along in a church, with his Vod who had passed away. The rage of people not honoring the dead filled the grey Selkath with the Strength to single handedly pick up the Metal Coffin and bring it outside. Laying the Coffin down on the water, it began to descend. This moment was a deja vu for Mike. Not even 2 years ago had he layed his friend Aiden Cora to rest in the same spot. Brushing a tear from his eye, as Mike prayed for Saint Naast, Mike walked back into the church. Before leaving Mike decided to do what the final part of the ceremony was. The unveiling of the glass. The Selkath pulled a new pane of Stained Glass from its cover, and started to set it in the open Window pane. After sealing it in, the setting sun began to shine through, illuminating the beautiful art of a Chiss man in the centre of the pane. He was holding a glowing orb, a light for the coming path, and various Selkath were knelled beside him in the art. This glass truly described how Mike Que-Kara felt about the coming days. No matter what happened, Naast would still be there, leading the path and helping the Order grow. |
