I know that there are a shorcut in DS delfino square. After passing the roundabout in the start, and then going through the small streets. Then you come to the bridge where you have to turn left, followed by a right turn at the end of the road. Between the bridge and the right turn there is a right run through an Ally, but it's offroad, so you would have to pick a kart that's good on off road, or have som emushrooms in store so you can boost through it |

I don't tend to fuss over shortcuts but if there was one i wanted to take it would be the one in Dry Dry Ruins. It's incredibly obvious but before the finishing line there's a turn but if you have something that boosts your speed you can go in the gap between it and just bypass the turn altogether. It's not always worth it though as boosting at the wrong time won't make you lose any time as you'll stay airborne for too long. |

While there aren't really any REAL shortcuts for Shy Guy beach there are a few things you can do to make your trip round it a bit faster. Always hop over the water as, if you're following the course, it'll keep your max speed up higher then it would if you went through the water and slowed down. Also if you end up with a golden mushroom just boost through the lighter coloured water as you won't sink unless you go in the darker parts. It'll shave seconds off your time and help you play the catch up game if need be. |

rite. SHY GUY BEACH... the only shortcut i can think of, is when you get to the bits with grass in the middle, always take the inside lane (to the left). hopefully that should help wixys-wazzler |

There's one on bowser castle 3 after you go over the bumps wait by the last bump make sure you have a mushroom and a fast bike and turn to an angle and use a mushroom then do a trick and you will land on the road the other side of it. This is a very tricky one though

cheers saucy kid (thumbs up to u). rite... 3) on DS desert Hills or the other sandy level, there is a big pyramid, and if u have a golden mushroom, or 3 mushrooms i suggest boosting to the left of it, (cutting the entire corner). This is entitled to get u 1st.
