I heard a song come on the radio as I was driving along, and it got me thinking.

Do you have a song that has really touched you? If so, what is it, and why is it so important to you?

I have 2.

The first is one that my husband says reminds him of me. It's Lonestar's Amazed. It makes me feel all happy inside when I hear it. :D

The other one is Eric Clapton's If I Saw You In Heaven. This seemed to be on the radio all the time after my brother died. It still brings tears to my eyes when I hear it, and if I'm on my own, I have a good old blubber

I love the song 'In The Arms Of The Angels' by Sarah Mclachlan from the Movie "City of Angels" with Meg Ryan. It's really touching but inspirational in a way.

Here's a link if anyone wants to take a listen:

Danny Boy makes me feel sad. It was my fathers name and I lost him when I was 11.

You're the inspiration by Chicago is mine and Marks song and I love it.

A special friend
'Time to say goodbye', that opera one (lord knows who it is by!) was the one they played at my nan's funeral, along with abide with me, I can't bear to listen to either of them now....

But on a happier note, I always loved 'The power of Love', by FGTH not the Jennifer Rush one, which has fast become mine and Steve's song as he loves it too
