I don't like doing housework but sometimes I get a real satisfaction when I get a big job done. For example I hate ironing and only iron stuff as I need it, which is every day! Every now and then I tackle it head on and get the weeks worth done in an afternoon and it's so nice not to have to do it on a daily basis.

I spent 6 hours over Friday and Saturday ironing :(

I'm lucky that as I work long hours, (that's NOT the lucky bit) I get a cleaner in once a week. She doesn't charge very much, and I love coming home to a clean house on a Wednesday. She gets done in 2 hours what takes me about 10 with the kids under my feet!

:D I don't iron, it's swearing.

No honest I've tried it in the past and the boys drag it all over. I do it as they need it.

If I have the right musical accompanyment I like housework. Except the pots. I hate washing pots. I have a lovely hubby that does them for me. :D

What is ironing? I just hang mine up and Iron it if I need to when I want to wear it, which isn't often 'cos I am great at wearing clothes that don't need ironing.

As for the rest of it, I quite enjoy it, but only in the rooms that have been decorated, I hate doing a couple of the bedrooms because they look untidy where they need a lick of paint, so I don't feel like I have got anywhere.

The thing I truly hate is gardening, I have a front and back garden which gets done probably once a month, lol, the outside of my house looks horrendous!

Oh I love them when they look nice but keeping them that way is something else! Hence my back garden is slowly gaining patio and stones :D
