Just a light hearted thing.....but it looks like a full moon tonight! Does anybody think their moods are effected by it? If it can control the tides.....who knows what other influences it has? Lisa |

Not me personally (well don't think so, others might disagree!!
) but it is a definite phenomena, apparently suicide rates and admissions to psychiatric hospitals are supposed to go up at full moon.I have spoken to parents who reckon their children's behaviour gets worse at full moon, I think some people are just very electromagnetically sensitive. This can involve moon phases and also being too close or too long with electrical equipment. The electromagnetic field of the equipment (or the earth's electromagnetic field affected by the moon phase) interacts with the electromagnetic field of the body. People who are affected by moon phases may also be effected by using computers for too long, being too close to the tv and microwave ovens etc. It is believed we "scan" the environment for information using electromagnetic sensing, usually unconsciously, which is probably why we aren't aware we are behaving differently at certain times. Gives a whole new meaning to "time of the month"!! |

I havent noticed the full moon affecting me, but i do have a strong electromagnetic field about me. My dad's the same. Neither of us can wear watches - they stop, go backwards, go too fast etc - it's quite weird!! I wasn't able to wear necklaces until recently either - i used to get little electric shocks (like static) from them. For some reason, im ok with them now. |

Suicide rates DO go up at full moon. I know from working in A&E that I used to dread being on nights when it was a full moon. It was always really busy. We used to get cut wrists, stabbings, shootings, overdoses..........those were the most common. It definitely has a strong effect, although the general public don't realise it. The Ambulance crews and Police will tell you the same thing.
