Someone offered to baby sit for us the other night (which was very brave, luckily the kids all slept and didnt even notice we were out). We went to see a band at the local nightclub.

It has been a long time since I have been to a nightclub and too be honest I really didn't enjoy it - I felt really uncomfortable and found myself not wanting to be there. I use to go out to nightclubs all the time and drink silly amounts and I think I had fun, but now I really cant be bothered with it.

I only ever went to one nightclub as a teenager, and hated it. I felt like a piece of meat on the dancefloor. All the girls danced, and the lads stood around the edge of the dance floor watching. Afterwards, we went out to get a taxi, and a load of lads were gunning for a fight with each other. Really not my idea of fun.

I'd much rather book a table at a nice restaurant, or have friends around for dinner.
If you stay ready, you won't need to get ready!
