Adam has had two non pupil days, and has had verbal diarrhea since he came home on Friday!!
He is obseessed with Star Wars so i have been trawling Ebay for the characters he requires. Try explaining the outbid side of it - there is a limit to how much i will spend on bits of plastic....

He has gone back to school today and the silence is wonderful. (How mean am I?)
Anyway, yesterday we went in to Pets at Home to have a look at the animals etc, and on the way out, he shouted at the top of his voice "you might as well buy me a kennel to live in as you treat me like a dog" :help:

I must be a dreadful aunty!!!!!!

I pity them at boarding school today, as he has been so high, and the change of routine hasn't helped. Eek, must go prepare for the weekend.....
Oh yes, i'm doing a sponsored 5km walk for Cancer Research on Sunday, so i will have some peace and quiet for a while!!!!

Karen. xx

I'd have said I'll get one for me if it gives me some peace and quiet
I've had two kids off for a month now because of a dispute, and its looking like I'll be lucky to get them back into school before September

The novelty of having them home has long since worn off, I love 'em to bits but I've forgotten what peace and quiet is. I'm splitting child care with my husband, and I go to what little work I can take on for a rest.

Good luck with the walk on Sunday, have a lovely time. I'd offer to come with you as long as you promise there's a nice quiet kennel at the end of it

Oh, Karen.....I know what you mean. Don't take it to heart though. Good luck on Sunday. Your Pumice stone and foot spa awaits!
