The Eddie Stobart yard in Daventry is open to the public. There are 2 depots which allow visitors on; their transport where all the units and trailers are parked and the other which has a Stobart shop and a unit and trailer in the reception area that you are able to have a sit in. The visits to their depots are free! I have attached the map and disclaimers for anyone who is interested. The ideal times to go are Monday-Friday 8.30-5.30 and on certain Saturdays 10.00-2.00, if you want to visit the transport depot or visit on a Saturday it will need to be pre booked. You don’t need to book during the week. I thought this would be good not only for taking groups over there, but for families too if you fancy a cheap couple of hours out over the hols with the kids. Thanks to Sam for this great info!!

I get to see their lorries on a daily basis as there is a yard near to where I live and so they are always about here. I don't know so much about an open day though, but it might be an idea for them. |
