Probably 4 board. I like to work in 5 and 6 boards to sometimes especially for close grip. |

It seems that quite a few fellas are using 5 and 6 Board presses. They must have arms like a Gibbon! As for myself I would be doing 1mm presses with a 5 Board and a 30 mm grip...... McLifter

I cant remember going above a 3 board but if I were to make a serious run at a big shirted bench id probably go as high as a 5 or 6 board. But at 6'3, my 3 board still has a huge rom compared to most good benchers. |

Of note: I don't use a comp grip. All of my benching is done with the same grip as my overhead work (pinky on the rings) so that accounts for a bit more ROM. |
