Online douche. GOLD! I need more Gold

An entertaining weekend, child-wise. My daughter was in her first dance recital. Ballet, to be precise. Dressed like a little flower. Went through all her stuff fine and then all the kids were supposed to gallop in a circle. The girl ahead of my daughter was stage-struck and not moving so Ayleigh just put her hands on the other girl's back and 'assisted' her around the circle. What a sweetie And then there's my boy. At 15 months and 28#, he's something of a tank and crazy to boot. We have a little stool in the kitchen he likes to up end and he did just that and then walked up onto it. You know, the whole 2" it was to the top of it. Then he looks around, like he's surveying the world and runs off of it. Well enough. At this point, he wanders around the island in the kitchen until he comes back to the upside down stool, gets on top of it again, tightens up his arms and fists at his sides and, with a look of total victory on his face let's out a loud "NYAHA!" It was hard not to clap, considering how proud of himself he obviously was. I used 'NYAHA!' this weekend when I hit a PR on the stone. It seemed appropriate. - Sean |

Great story. Today my son (14mo. 39lbs) casually rolled an oly bar loaded to 210# (with a one-arm row)and watched bewildered as it rolled another 2' (from the force of his pull)after he let go. My wife (who deadlifts twice a year) walked over and casually picked up the whole thing and put it back. This strength thing is contagious!! - |

I agree

No kidding... he's ready to go straight from the rear facing car seat to a booster seat, if not driving. |

You should see him at a buffet.....
 He's almost grown out of his car booster seat, we're going to have to get him one made for 5 year olds... The funny thing is he doesn't have a roll of fat on his entire body, he's just thick. He's got the brain of a one year old with the size and strength of a four year old... you can imagine the problems. ---- |

One of the speakers at Promise Keepers in St. Louis said grandkids were a reward for not killing your own... |

My daughter deadlifted the 15 lb dumbell the other day. She also points to the tires in the garage (600 and 900) and asks, "Daddy strong?" You try not smiling at that! |

I entered the same debutant-contest (SM), that my 18-year old son did... First event was Truck Pull 3500 kg's / 7700 lbs for 20 meters... I beat him... The look on his face... :P |

recently, my 10 and 8 year old daughters treated my wife and i to a medley of songs that they had been practicing, along with some dance to go along with it. i love to be entertained by my kids, so i settle into the couch as the show begins. its all pretty sweet stuff that the girls are doing, while at the same time my 2 year old son max decides to get in the act. he grabs his plastic samuri sword and begins his own horrible and fascinating dance of death, weaving around the girls, hacking imaginary opponents into pieces. he rolls on the floor like a chimp, then stabs into the air with his blade while roaring at the top of his lungs. the girls dont miss a beat, and complete their show. it was wonderful and refreshing. |

Doug, that wasn't just random by your son. He was probably reenacting "The Seven Samurai" like a Japanese kabuki(sp) performance. Sounds awesome, though. - Sean |
