I want to make my own Atlas Stones. And I want them to be IFSA standard, 50 cm diametre. Making the mold with fiberglass is not the problem, finding something completely round, and exactly with a 50 cm diametre, is worse... Does anyone have a clue to what I should/could use? Also, does anyone know about a good recipe for Tacky? The stuff in the store is made for some sort of indoor ballgame... and is sorta soft... |

Can't you just put more pressure into the ball to get it bigger? |

Exercise balls are available in all diameters... http://www.bigfitness.com/resbal.html Put more air into yours. They are usually "anti-burst", so they shouldn't deform or explode if you overfill them a bit. Just make sure that you measure the ball carefully before you start making the mold. Check ebay for tacky resin -- someone is selling a pile of it in the UK. I'm sure that they provide a recipe as well. |
