Beautiful and a monstrous machine at the same time. 7+ litres supercharged, 300 horses, 500+ lb/ft of torque. The SSK series were also very successful racers. |

I use to keep up with both new and old cars (Mostly exotic and classic). Also use to buy the Dupont Registry magazine when I had the money back then (Now $8.00 vs. $6.00 two years ago, WTF?) I haven't paid much attention to cars lately because I figured, I could never really afford them...Even the upkeep is out of my price range. However, it is fun to dream of owning them.. B) |

I used to regularly buy two excellent British classic car magazines "Classic & Sports Car" and "Thoroughbred & Classic Cars" until they were virtually priced out of Canadian market. They still sell them for a ridiculous nearly $20 price. If I ever won the lottery or in another life I think I wouldn't mind restoring cars for a living. |

This one is of much later vintage but to me it's perhaps the most beautiful car ever made. 1967 Alfa Romeo Stradale Alfa Romeo Stradale Alfa Romeo Stradale Alfa Romeo Stradale |

Oh yeah! The Stradale was just my opinion, but many serious car people consider the Miura the best looking car ever. Great machine, too. Apparently, the chassis alone was enough to cause sensation when it was unveiled in 1965. |

The best part about the Miura was it was Giancarlo's (or was it Fabrizio, can never remember which is the son and which is the old man) 'go fuck yourself Enzo a tractor builder just created a better car then anything you're making'. |

The legend goes that Ferruccio Lamborghini was unhappy with his Ferrari and spoke to Enzo about it. Enzo, who was known to be aloof, told him something to the effect "Stick to tractors" and that's what got Ferruccio to start his own car company. |

Haha, the Pantera was also a car made to spite Ferrari. Ford came close to buying Ferrari in the '60s and when the deal didn't happen, Ford decided to beat Ferrari at his own game. That's why they built the GT40 and the Pantera was another result of that competition. |
