I tell all my clients to get a tennis ball, it works even better for the hips and glutes as the external rotators are usually drum tight. You can also use the ball on the front of the hips on the tensor fascia latae and the rectus femoris where it crosses the hip, do it alone though because it looks like you are getting it on with the wall. Rotate the heel outwards to get a stretch on these muscles for best and most painful results. |
