No doubt!! Owned in front of millions. I dig Kennys skills more and more and such a regular-lookin type dude. Rumour has it Kenny is now fighting Shawn Sherk for the 155 belt in august... that most likely will be the screeching halt to the K-Flo wake of destruction. ---------- |

Bam. Bam-bam. babababababamthump. Hey...wha' happened? Top PRIDE guy vs. TUF washout = big time smoke show. I was impressed by Silva's fights in PRIDE -- looks like he hasn't lost anything. |

That was awesome. Fake with the ground'n'pound and bam. Lock that arm up. Anderson Silva might just be my new hero. What a fucking beatdown. 3 unanswered jabs in the first 5 seconds and THEN it went downhill from there. Savage. - Sean |

I agree

What killed me was how accurate he was- even Joe Rogan made an astute comment about Silva using angles, and almost every punch he threw connected. |

It was a stunning fight. I don't think Leben knew what hit him. He was sure pissed at himself afterwards though. The Canadians represented themselves well. McLifter |

Chris Leben has more than proved himself since TUF. He's beaten some tough dudes and was dominated by a type of striker he's never faced before.... styles make fights. Silva is no top PRIDE contender. He fights in Cage Rage in the UK, which is the PRIDE farm team. His angles and combinations did look impressive, however. PRIDE is currently coming up on the second round of their 183 lb 16 man super tournament and Silva never got the call....... OAN, The Cummo/Goulet fight was superb ----------- |

Don't get me wrong, Brad -- I think that Leben is a tough kid -- there's no doubt about that. Unfortunately, he wasn't blessed with a lot of speed...and he could probably use a few years to refine his existing techniques and add some new disciplines. Leading with his chin to get inside Silva's reach was probably not a great strategy. Mind you, I have a lot more experience breaking up fights than I do starting them...so my opinion may not mean as much. As Brad pointed out, I was wrong. Silva is only 3 - 2 in PRIDE fights. I remember watching his three wins, and just assumed that he was one of the regulars. That said, he also had a good record in Vale Tudo and Shooto, and undeniably has more high-level experience than Leben. I've now seen a total of four Silva fights, and have been impressed by all of them. Cummo-Goulet was excellent. They both have a lot of skill, and it was a great match-up. |

A 3-2 record in PRIDE still makes you a great fighter, just maybe not enough lately (he lost his last two) to get a call back. I agree with you Grant, Lebens stategy was straight from a video game...attack at all costs!!!! AAAAND it cost him. I think the next guy to fight Silva ( a dude like Lousaeu or Tanner) will be very wary of his quickness with his combos, and make the fight much much harder for him. ----- |

I'm not a huge follower of this stuff so, what kind of chance does a guy like Tanner have? Seeing as he was a former middleweight title holder. |

Tanner would be in the top 5 in the UFC in the middleweight division. He fought Franklin twice and got picked apart both times by Richs very smooth stand-up, then lost to Louaseu via cut/ground and pound. He recently won again and looks good so I think his chances against a guy like Silva are 50/50. Silva will be fucked if he ends up on the bottom against the cage.... Tanner has tito/Couture level ground and pound... things turn ugly real quick.. IMHO. --------- |
