A great competition, and a good time was had by all, both during and after the daily events!

There were some great new implements manufactured, including the "Pillars of Power" hercules hold apparatus and the Fingal's Fingers.

Congrats to Yves Ferrier, winning a very close competition. For a 412-pound guy, his cardio isn't too bad, either! Ontario's Len Elliott finished in second for the second year in a row. Once he gets his log press up, he's going to do some damage. Ontario's Jose Plante was consistent throughout, and finished a strong third. Ontario's Sean Bates, still recovering from Canada's Strongest Man last weekend, finished fourth, and Manitoba's 105'er, Brent Hamm, seems to be on the road to full recovery -- finishing in 5th and narrowly edging out Maritimer Darrell Crouse, who won this year's under-105 Canadians. Atlantic Canada's Grant Connors was still not yet fully recovered from a tweaked back sustained in last weekend's CSM, and that was unfortunately reflected in his result. Dallas Hogan from T-Bay is still getting accustomed to the implements, and I'm certain that his results will improve when he trains the events. Jay Smith also came out from the East coast, and had a few excellent events. Ontario's Troy Goodfellow unfortunately sustained a knee injury, forcing his withdrawal after only four events. He still beat me by three points :( . Powerlifter Tye Pulsifer came down from T-Bay to try out some events, and had quite the learning experience. If he wants to improve, he will, once he gets the chance to train the events.

Great work, guys! Very impressive, and good on Brent for narrowly edging out Darrell. Darrell looks like he'll do well in the 105kg World's.
