Have done. Hopefully pick up my equipment of Tom? Trying to get in touch at the moment. What Class you in? Don't know which one to entre yet? Be good to meet you. Going to be driving down around 2:30 am and stop somewhere for a quick sleep. Then onto the Comp. Think i'm going to be fucked with all the driving and lack os sleep. Should be good fun though. |

Every comp I've been to there have been lads running on caffine after a night with little if any sleep. It's the dedication that everyone puts into this sport ![]() I know if I get a chance at the British I'll be on my usual no sleep for at least 24 hours before. it's the way the high council would want it |

Shawn, I'll do what I can to get you some farmers ready. I'll check what you've paid and you can pay the balance on the day if required. |

Just got back in, Superb day with some awesome performances. Well done to Pete for taking the open; Shawn came in close second after a night of no sleep and a long drive ![]() Ed the next big thing skinner came in an impressive third place for the pompy crew. I'll post more later, Alan will have pictures soon. Well done to everyone. Alan deserves a special mention for putting together a great comp that I open could become a regular calender event |

Absolutely awesome show. I had a great time. Great to finally meet you Tom and some of the other guys from the board. Congrats to 'BIG PETE' for the win. Big Al, you did very well organising it mate hats off to ya. I competed in the opens, and came 7th. Fairly happy, lots of PRs for me today, including carrying a 300kg yoke for 15m. I need to work on my speed and my fitness though! B) |

MY WRITEUP - CULLY2006 OVERHEAD MEDLEY 4 objects to be pressed overhead 90kg keg 85kg axle 140kg viking press 110kg log I managed the keg and the axle. Most of the competitors got 2 implements so i'm not too unhappy here. Viking was so close, just couldn't lock out. ~3 TON TRUCK PULL Originally was supposed to pull 10 ton truck but no one managed to move it more than a few inches or so because of the conditions so we ended up doing a smaller van pull with no rope assist. I got around 20m here. Uphill and very slippery underfoot as it was on tarmac. MEDLEY 300kg yoke carry 15m 120kg/hand farmers 10m ~120kg keg carry I ran out of time during the farmers. Yoke was ok. Puked after this one. HOIST ???? weight for max reps. I managed 8 in the time limit which i was pleased with. KEG LOADING 80kg-140kg + 140kg stone I got all the kegs up but my fitness let me down today and when i got the stone i couldn't get any air in and soon ran out of time. overall: 7th place |

Sam the keg was nearer to 140kg ( changed it from the one advertised) And the farmers were 15 mtrs. ref will decided to make it harder. |
