Another video on you tube with some good footage. you tube Misha form on the deadlift is so good to watch as for the block lift medley that looks a real test of brute overhead power. |

Thanks Stefan, that is alot clearer than the information I found.
Sounds like a fantastic contest, nobody is really dominating, and everyone has had some good performances.

It was unreal watching Zydrunas cleaning the 215kg log. It looked like nothing. Then the press was a little too heavy so he dropped it down. Like he did not want to waste to much energy. |

I'm surprised at the results in the farmers. Not so much that Murumets won it, that was a given. But more the distances. Were there hand problems with the handles? because I can't believe many of them athletes could not pick them up again |

Is it me or are those farmers walk results a little poor ? It seems a ton did around 100ft or so. I dunno, maybe the implements are really awkward... |

Oli hates the IFSA farmers. The handles are set inside them, so they come really high up your legs and are awkward as hell he recons. |

I was going to post that the weights seemed light for such a big comp, but that was before the final. Thats a fucking heavy contest, max log, deadlift for reps and what seems to have been a pretty tough farmers. Great to see Misha performing so strongly. Im still godsmacked by what I saw in Glasgow. The man's sickeningly strong. |

Cold might be a factor, if the conditions are the same as the heats. |

Travis said that they are by far the hardest handles he has ever used for farmers. So i imagine that is why only one person finished the entire course. |

It's only gay if you smile during the reach-around.

If you compare the 105 European championship weights to the WORLD IFSA weights, the IFSA weights aren't that impressive: farmer's walk (150 kg each hand - 40 meters) viking press (repetitions - 130 kg) wheel flip (8 flips - 360 kg) conan's circle (360 kg) truck pull (18.000 kg - 20 meters) joke race (360 kg - 20 meters) medley (sand bag carry, farmer's walk and wheel flip) Farmers Walk (160kg per hand) Deadlift for Reps (320kg) Max Log Car Wheelbarrow (Looks like it is 20 meters for time) Maybe things will be heavier tomorrow..... This Worlds is a bloomin fab competition. I am sooooooo lucky that I am here and I am having just the best ever time!!!
The temperature of the final is not an issue as it is in a horse gym thing and has heating and stuff. Top 4 at the moment are Misha and Big Z joint first, then Vasyl, then Benni. The events today are: Deadlift Hold (330kg??) with a very low pickup Conans Wheel Yoke 420kg Stones going up to 180kg I think. Gem x

Stones are 140-150-160-170-180kg. Platforms 1,7 - 1,6 - 1,5 - 1,4 - 1,3m Yoke will be 410kgīs for 30m time. That 900lbs for 100feet i think. Deadlift hold will be heavier then the wheel barrow. Over 410kgīs i think. Donīt know about the conanīs wheel. 300kg maybe? |

One event to go and it's all level, Savickas pulled it right back on the Yoke. The stones will decide it.
