The press is way to light for the open class - 120kg minimum, 130kg is probably about right - Id like to see it 140kg+! |

Looks good, mate. Press seems a little light in comparison as Dale said. Maybe you could set it up so there is a heavier axle like 130kg for exmaple and any number of reps on that beats any number of reps on the 110kg one. Just a thought, tell me what you think Al. Silver dollar deadlift should be with an axle. This is because of the issue with excessive bar bend allowing bigger numbers as per the u105 BSM contest. Sam |

Hello, The events for the women looks spot on!! Looking forward to competing! Thanks Hanne PS do you know how high the Apollo's axle is? They have just held Norways strongest woman, and the had Apollo's axle as a max lift and the winner did 75kg (and Anne is really strong). |

Right axle is changed to 130kg, and the deadlift will be done with a standard bar , the big issue came I think with the additional length on the end of the bar and won't just be an 18" lift. |

Nearly every axle Iv used has had a diffrent height Hanne - just practice with a normal plate height it wont be lower than that - if its hiegher it will be easier! 130kg is a nice weight on the axle! |

May have to DRIVE down for this. Looking good events. Any chance of a heavier stone for the loading event? How's about a stone pressing event ?

How's about a Traffic car waiting at Junction 28??? Mike B suggested a midgit carrying or throwing contest, Your missions are to kidnap and imprison as many little people as possible in the next 8 or 9 months. |

Thanks Dale, I will just train with my bar at home then. Does it make much difference with the plates spinning (but not on the Apollo's Axle)? I will be doing this competition. Hanne |
