I have my Wii on my wireless network and wiiconnect24 switched on. So I went to bed last night with my Wii on standby, and had a nice snooze. Woke up this morning and wandered into the living room idly scratching my balls to get the fright of my life!! Eminating from the disc try of my Wii was a pulsing blue light, very unsettling! Had my Wii been posessed by the Anti-Christ whilst I slept? I switched it on, and checked my messages (half expecting a sinister occult text or something)... There was a message from Nintendo telling me the Weather Channel is now live! So I did the quick system update (took a couple of minutes), and now I have the joy of being able to spin a globe on my TV and check the weather at hundreds of locations. The clsoest one to me is Ashford in Kent (about 20 miles away). Its free and it is pretty cool. And now I'm over the shock - the blue light is nice too! :peace |

I got one of those, I'm very content with it. If you do get the 360, 2 games to really go for are Gears of War and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. |

It is short though, best played on a harder difficulty, the AI however is mind boggling sometimes... however online is where it shines. |

Thanks to Santa emptying his sack around my tree, and my own purchases, I now have the following Wii Games: Wii Sports - Came with the Wii, excellent fun! I love the bowling and the baseball. Made it to "Pro" on the bowling this morning. My best score is 215. Zelda - Only really dipped into this, looks like a great game though. Call of Duty 3 - Good game, with a bit of practice the controls feel nice for FPS games. Super Monkey Ball, Banana Blitz! - Mad! Totally Mad! Lots of fun though! Wii Play - Worth getting for the free remote, but not the best game. 2-3 of the mini games are fun, but nothing too deep or engrossing here. Madden 07 - I'm not a huge NFL fan, but this is alot of fun, and makes good use of the remote and nunchuck.
