Shit man, there's no snow here yet. I wouldn't normally complain, but what kind of christmas has no snow ??? Espacially in Canada damnit... not a flake to be seen in Ottawa or Gatineau. This has got to be a first.

Seriously, is the planet fucked? Are we going to see Hurricane Katrina's as a common occurence now? Are the polar caps going to melt completly and flood 25% of our land mass ?

Never worry about the planet, Jesse. The planet will survive.

Us? We're fucked.

Although I don't care about flooding. I'm 1500 km from the nearest large body of water.

Just wait until the next plague.

The icecap melting will be a plus. James bay should end up close to my doorstep so we can get some prime ocean front properties. I'll start up a whaling fleet, use tuna nets to net some dolphins (with there 3' prehencile dicks, thanks Sean, i never forget shit like that).

Actually the last thing I saw on the polar caps melting was that it would precipitate an ice age, FAST! By causing the gulf stream (?, or whatever current circulates warm water to northern europe) to be disrupted. SO I would enjoy the global warming while it lasts. I would watch the fuck out if I were mexico too!

Now you're boring us
It could be global warming, it could be natural climate change, it could be that the earthquake that caused the huge tsunami 2 years ago was so intense it shifted the earth's orbit.

Like George Carlin said, "The planet is fine. The people are fucked."

Jesse, check out "An Inconvenient Truth", if you haven't already. Its a documentary by Al Gore (he's actually not boring in this) on Global Warming. Really opened my eyes. Our kids are in for deep shit if something doesn't change.

You can rent it but its also floating around the file sharing sites.
