Well, the first port of call for things like this is normally the CAB (citizens advice bureau). They'll be able to talk you through your problem, and put you in touch with anyone who might be able to help you. Another place to look is any University nearby. Or better yet, try some of the London based unis, Kings, UCL, LSE etc. At Manchester we run the Legal Advice Centre. This is a free service for people who come to us with legal problems, students are then put in charge of researching the problem and giving you advice. They are helped by practicing lawyers (often VERY good ones), and the advice is normally very very helpful. Im not sure whether the Unis in Kent do this but I imagine some of the London ones will. I imagine they'll be charities that help with this kind of thing too, using lawyers on a pro bono basis, i'll ask around. If you wanted me to try and help out then feel free to put any info you want in a PM or mail me at Yorke10@aol.com. I never studied medical negligence, but have a good understanding of negligence laws, and know a few who did specialise in medical negligence. I cant promise anything as these guys are pretty fucking busy, but if I can help in any way I will. |
