I'm trying to teach myself some songs through guitar tabs. So far I've learned "We Are Going to Be Friends" by the White Stripes, and I'm looking into Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy", which seems very easy. After that I'm going to try "Hey Ya", which sounds awesome on an acoustic guitar. Maybe "Stairway to Heaven" later. |

Yeah- I play Jamie. It's a good way to kill a couple of hours and relax. It also helped me get laid a couple of times in my life, but thats another story. Tabs are a good way to learn. sites like www.thetabworld.com and the Oh Canada Tab archive are good resources. My advice though is to search for tabs and download them quickly becasue the threat of legal action from some in the music industry has scared most of the good tab sites away already. If you are lookign for specific music or anything, just let me know. Cheers Wes |

Yep, for about 19 years now. Ditto to what Wes said. Oh, and work on your rhythm. You can get away with a lot if you have it! |

Thanks for the tips, guys!
I'm trying to learn more and more chords. Chordbook.com is great for that, as it has a really in-depth audio-visual interface. |
