per the title i have this weird tingly feeling like pins and needles in my thumb after deadlifting tonight. is it somthing to worry about? |

Had this happen a time or 2 with fingers, goes away after awhile. Most likely nothing to worry about. Unless it persists. |

nah i dont use a hook grip. its starting to go away. its not painfull anyhow. probably worrying over nothing. thanks guys. |

The problem with tingley stuff is it is nerve impingement which means it can be anywhere along the affected nerve. The thumb is fed by the radial nerve which in turn is fed by the brachial plexus and since the dead lift really loads the brachial plexus the impingement can be the neck, thoracic outlet, elbow or wrist. Like the others say if it goes away then it is not an issue at this point but if it starts reoccurring more frequently get it checked out. |
