ok , i will try to describe what exactly is happening to me.The pain started a few months ago.Would do some barbell curls nad during the exercise my arm felt fine ,finish the exercise put the bar down...Try to release the bar and i would get sharp shooting pains through my forearms...which i tollerated at that point, mainly because barbell curls were the only exercise that i felt it. Any ways a few weeks on and its got progresivelly worse,so its now effecting any pushing movement,at the bottom of benching i know loose all power. So,i have been to see a physio who has said its trapped in a few places messed around with it for an hour, checked ny neck out and my back....That was 2 weeks ago.Went training 2 days ago and its still there....just was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if it has what did you do...will keep going to the physio in the meantime......also get pins and needles in my little finger and the one next to it....? any advice would be great.....

I agree

Sounds like the neck to me, judging on where the pain is. Massage therapy, ART, chiro, and figuring out what exactly the problem is. |

That would be the ulnar nerve affected, it originates at joints of vertebra's c7/8 t1 into the brachial plexus and then down the arm on the side of the elbow closest to the body. Jeff suggested the neck and I would suggest that as well as the thoracic outlet , that is quite common especially with what this crowd does. |
