alrite guys got back from the docs again with my knee pain 1 month ago i was told to rest my knee for a week or two with i did abit lol goes back today as the pain is getting worse wilst training and fond out the problem is PATELLA MALTRACKING they advised physio or to get the exersizes from them and do them at home just wondering if any has sufferd from this and any one know any good exersizes for it thanks ant |

A PT needs to get a visual of how you walk, at what point you are getting pain, etc. Sometimes the way a person walks can greatly contribute to their knee issues (pronation, supination, etc.). Also, when you are getting rehab exercises, the PT will want to make sure you have good form when doing them. They will notice subtle movements that could potentially create more problems for you that other people may not notice (especially you). I seem to be in a perpetual state of rehab, and I have found that not everything works the same way for every "body". Many of the rehab exercises my PT gave me for my knee rehab actually made my knee worse, and she was quite surprised. But we kept at it, and eventually, we got a good set of rehab exercises that really worked well for me. I still do them. IMHO, I think it's better if you see a PT first. But there are some experts on the board who know a lot more than I do
