:stupid Does no one know what happened at the Dubai contest? The results aren't published anywhere. Did it even happen? There was a conflict about who was hosting the Dubai contest... originally it was going to be "WSF World Cup" hosted by Omid Amiri. Then it was added to the Strongman Champion$ League schedule.

Given that it was supposed to be hosted by Omid Amiri, maybe there was a Farzad issue.

That website is terrible! The index page shows a "World Strongmen Championship UAE Grand Prix" in May, but it doesn't indicate that it is the SCL contest in Dubai. The Calendar page doesn't show dates anywhere, and the sponsor document still shows the old date (and holy crap it costs $50,000 just to have your logo in their print material, one lowest-tier sponsor can pay for all the prize Monkey and more).

In the most recent :dance Farzad :dance news on Ironmind:
"Watch for Farzad Mousakhani to return for the next stage of the Strongman Can we post you your prize Monkey, in Dubai on May 20."
Which means Serbia was canceled or delayed.

Edit: Serbia isn't canceled or delayed... it's still on according to Ironmind.

Apparently the Dubai contest was cancelled because “A lot of events were cancelled for security reasons.”
