I think this is a stupid line up.
Mark Felix, Terry Hollands and Arild are already lined up to go to WSM through qualification. Janne has already announced he is going, they will definitely take magnus. Are they going to leave last years 2nd place guy out? I think not. So its a bit unfair that Richard, Odd, Jarek, Kevin and Benedikt probably have to battle it out for one qualifying place that will be left. Apologies to Rene, but I think he is substandard compared to the rest.

Great to watch but hardly anygood for qualifications. I think that once you have qualified for WSM you cannot compete again in the qualifiers.

Anyway only my opinion.

The British guys will probably be shattered by the time the Viking-Power takes place.

I'm interested in that max deadlift-I like the weights of this event.I sure hope Felix will push Benedikt in the deadlift.

WOW!!! WOW. 600KG tire flip!!. Max deadlift and appollon axle? This after they had a max deadlift event at the WSMSS. I hope this an indicator that WSM will put more emphasis into max events and just heavy events in general.

According to Ironmind:

After two events, Kevin Nee leads the Super Series Viking Power Challenge.

Nee won the last man standing deadlift with a huge 410-kg pull. Nee has 23 points; Sebastian Wenta is in second place with 18 points.

410 pull! Tremendous.

Big win for Arild, I'm sure he feeling the pressure on home turf.

Does anyone know more about Johannes Arsjo, getting 4th and qualifying for WSM, could have a bright future ahead of him, Richard Skog also getting a WSM place.

I have to wonder what Magnus was thinking, his back has been bad and yet he still attepted to compete in this comp.

Johannes had his rockie year at national level last year and ended up at 5:th place in the final. This year he has improved alot, he did beat me in one of our national qualifers..first I felt realy down about that but it was not me that was too bad, he is now clearly a big boy

Johannes was amazing! He fought like a tiger, and I'm sure we'll see much more of him the next years!

VPC was a great competition, and both we in the crew and the audience enjoyd every second of it. All the athletes told me that they had a great time in Norway, and all of them bragged about our competition!

Arild did 400 kg deadlift, and it was easy! :woohoo I'm sure that with the right dl-suit and some more training he'll be able to pull at least 410-420 kg.

I'm so proud to be Norwegian at the moment, and I'm so proud to be a part of Lene and Svend's DreamTeam!

Does anyone know who won the Apollon’s Axle for max weight and how much weight did they lift? How about for that massive 600 kg Tire Flip? Who won that and how did the rest of them handle such a heavy tire?

Arild, Kevin, Johannes and Richard all did 180 kg in the apollons. Jarek ended up at 170 kg.

Arild won the tire flip with six flips on 29.80 sec. Janne and Richard also managed all six flips, but both of them used almost 70 seconds. Mark and Kevin got one flip, Odd had two, Sebastian three, Jarek four and Johannes five. The tire was brand new and extremly heavy!
