i`ll try the vaseline in the sock tonight
My right forearm seems to be very unhappy with me lately.
Just where my forearm joins my elbow.
I have a constant dull pain which gets worse when i train.
My right bicep is also feeling a bit strained.
The only thing i can think is the fact i`ve had to wear gloves
at work lately & this has forced me to grip things harder ?
Any thoughts on rehab please gents ?
I really want to rest it but i have 2 comps coming up & will
be taking a wk off after the second comp.
:sick

As Dale says 'ice' for the time being.

After a while there are a few light exercises that will get blood into the area, and of course massage will help as well.

Cheers gents.
I`ll be having this wk off & hopefully this should help.
I`ll ice the area as well.
Will it be ok to ice it with cold cans of lager ? :drunk

Will resting the arm is important but no reason why you should have a week off training, You could be doing some high rep squats to build some leg endurance for this bus push you've got in a couple of weeks

I guess I swing both ways...I know where my monkey is going
Sounds like tendonitis to me, too. The only thing that worked for me was ART. I suggest finding somebody that actually knows how to do it -- it's too easy for anybody to go to a weekend conference and then say "I can do ART".

I went through 3 months of physio and massage but only had temporary relief (temporary being about 2 hours). The pain was so bad at times that I couldn't pick up a mug of coffee without recoiling. It cost me over $1,000, and ultimately it didn't work.

My GP finally sent me to a chiro who did ART and I only needed TWO treatments. I don't know how he did it, but after the first treatment, I walked out pain free. It was instant relief. He spent about 20 minutes on my arm both times. Very cost effective treatment. That was 4 years ago. The pain has never come back, no matter what I do.
