THE BOY WHO KNEW TOO MUCH
The gory stuff is intact in my Euro print, I was more thinking of dialogue scenes that sometimes tend to be shortened in dubbed versions. I'll make a dvd-r of my tape and check the running time.

THE BOY WHO KNEW TOO MUCH
I see Ayman is selling the Turkish tape of THE BOY WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (aka Kucuk Sahit aka Little Eyewitness) on eBay. I have the English dubbed version (from Dutch vhs) and I was wondering; is there any other difference between the two versions than the dubbing??

(PS: Ayman, you ought to mention it here at the Hound when you put up new stuff on the bay)

QUEEN OF BLACK MAGIC
You're absolutely right! I just made a comment (over there). The funny thing is that here at Cinehound I think we are more film fans and we worry a little less about tiny weeny mistakes on the print. I mean... I think we are more appreciative of the fact that someone like MM putting out completely rare films... than some of the people over at dvdmaniacs (I refuse to use the new name) who seem to be media fans instead of film fans!! They would probably die and disintegrate into the ground at once if they saw some of the vcd prints that I gulp down on a regular basis!!

Your tape must belong to the 25th aniversary series which was released a little bit later ..

Yes it does, it's mentioned on the cassette. So these weren't really 'Danish' releases as the sleeves were in English and they didn't have Danish subtitles. My TCM tape has Danish subs though and there's a sticker on the cover with the Danish title (Motorsavsmassakren).

Yup! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre aka Motorsavsmassakren on vhs. There was also a dvd release but this was before I began to buy dvd's so I only have the video.

I have no knowledge of these releases but are you sure your covers are Danish? It seems odd they would have UK "18" stickers on them since the highest age rating in Denmark is "16". My TCM doesn't have any age rating on it.

NB: I suppose technically speaking my tape isn't "strong uncut" but just uncut!
