Welcome to the forum, thedudeabides :)

SOLDIER BLUE
I've seen only the heavily cut Greek VHS of this movie but even like this it was great! Also a Greek promo DVD is cut.

What company released the uncut version?

GIZELA DALLI
No, only this h/c version with the fake inserts...There are two DVD releases and at least two VHS ones but all the same version.

As for that 35mm with Tina Spathi is a softcore film!

KAVANOZDAKÝ ADAM
Has anyone out there seen the Turkish long sci-fi movie KAVANOZDAKÝ ADAM (MAN IN THE JAR)? It was made in the 80s for turkish TV. Is it any good? I saw it on ebay on an expensive 4-VCD set without subtitles:

Any help?

VHS SURVIVORS
VHS SURVIVORS is a French online VHS museum. The site is in French language but they provide the English titles of the films so things are easy. They offer info & covers of the tapes released in France...Great work indeed! But the site don't let you copy or download the covers :(
I guess they swap or sell the scans if you ask them...

To be honest I'm still browsing the site but I wanna share the pleasure with you. The best thing about it is the superb design, even their Search machine is a VHS tape into a VCR, you write the title or name on the VHS label to search it...Very clever idea !!

Except the pages with VHS lists there is also a forum. French language is always a problem, but I repeat they provide English titles and this makes browsing more easy.

A nice site to spend a lot of hours into...with a lot of updates :)

Well, these are the latest CODE RED DVD releases. I'm very curious about that DEVILS TIME FIVE, I've never heard of it before...and I'm always fond of horror films with killer children :)
Also that Simon Piquer version of the Jules Verne novel sounds interesting!

I've seen on Greek VHS the film DON'T GO IN THE WOODS, a cool slasher, and THE FOREST which is really a weird one! Both recommended if you like this kind of films...

HUMAN TRAFFICKING
HUMAN TRAFFICKING
US crime thriller made for TV
Directed by Christian Duguay in 2005
Cast: Mira Sorvino, Donald Sutherland, Robert Carlyle, Isabelle Blais
IMDb info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0461872/

I watched this movie yesterday night on TV. It's a TV crime/drama about sex slavery. An international network gang leaded by Sergei Karpovich promise to several beautiful girls from Russia, Ukrania, Czech Republic etc a model career in USA...but there they find only hell as the girls become sex slaves working as prostitutes 24 hours a day. The model industry is just a camouflage for Karpovich who also kidnaps little children in Philipinnes selling them to rich perverts.

The gang blackmails the girls that if they'll escape they'll kill their relatives back in their countries. We see rapes, forced prostitution, murders, and a 16 years old girl raped & beaten just for the release of a video for the adult sites...

This movie was made for TV so don't expect to find long sex scenes or even nudity. By the other hand this is not a silly drama or something full of talking and romance...It's a very sick, violent and depressing film, really unhuman, the gang treats the ladies as they were animals or rubbish and the whole film is a long walk into a sadistic hell. Even worse are the scenes in Philipinnes, the gang kidnapps a little American girl from the street and buys a Filipino one by her own father...to join the sinful beds of some disgusting rich men.

This is not exploitation...It's a very serious movie about a real problem of todays world and -beleive me- it is stronger & sicker then many exploitation flicks!

TRASHING DA HOUSE
I moved this topic as it rather fix better here...

Andras, how often do you visit Paris? I didn't go to "Marche des Puces", where is it?
I also found "CD Choc" (a very nice shop with cheap DVDs - and also CDs & Books) and "Cinedoc" that was mainly about arty films but they have a "Fantastic/Horror cinema" corner. This shop has posters, books, mags and 16mm trailers!
