Did Karzan, il favoloso uomo della jungla (1972) get a VHS release?
Yup. Here's the US-release entitled "The Jungle Master":

Still up for grabs btw... :hello!:

I also remember a Scandinavian release (Danish or Swedish?) that some member posted here years ago...don't quote me on that though. ;)

I have the distinct memory of another Karzan movie (that was also released on VHS) and I had one of them, but I can't remember which one. If it was released in Sweden, it was probably also released in the rest of Scandinavia.
The US release's cover looks like something from a Sega game.
Hehe, yes, I remember that some Sega games had fantastic artwork. However, I was more of a Nintendo guy back then... :D

Btw: I did some research on this Fidani guy and the evidence slightly points to the fact that his Westerns are actually considered to be a tad below Sergio Leone's movies in terms of quality. I'm not completely convinced though. Maybe it's all fake news...

So was I (a Nintendo guy). But I got RetroN 5 and it plays both old Nintendo and Sega games.

Wauw! So rare!! I think I must have missed this post originally. So who bought your tape?
Some guy from the states. :hello!:

Blu-ray & DVD shops Worldwide
Medienversand has proven to be a reliable supplier. A bit slow the last time, but they have to wait for stuff from many suppliers, so it's understandable. Quite well packed and DHL delivered the parcel swiftly to my doorstep.

Anyone have Arabic VHS?

Actually there were four films (but only the first three starred Suzzanna).

Nyi Blorong Puteri Nyi Roro Kidul (1982) (aka "The Snake Queen")
Perkawinan Nyi Blorong (1983) (aka "Wedding of Nyi Blorong")
Petualangan cinta Nyi Blorong (1986) (aka "The Hungry Snake Woman")
Kisah cinta Nyi Blorong (1989) (aka "Nyi Blorong's Love Story")

Oh, thank you for the information. I was just citing the IMDB. :hello!:

I might still have a DVD-R I made once (of S&D), I'd have to check.
For those who doesn't know, Hungry Snake Woman is part of a trilogy. I think I have the Perkawinan nyi blorong VCD somewhere.

Thanks for this. Any gore?
The erotica in these kind films is usually quite tame by today's standards, but probably too much for the Indonesian censors. Fancy doing a VCD comparison? :P

What I remember about the S. Korean tape of Samson & Delilah, compared to the VCD (Indonesian I think), is that the entire eating in the tent was cut out. Nothing really happens, though the eating is rather suggestive as can be seen:

That's a bummer.

That has to be the bottom of the barrel, t-h-e worst service throughout the years I've spent collecting & ordering movies.

If anyone else has any shops they'd like to add to the list please tell us. :)

Looking at the Japanese cover, I can see that there's quite a lot of nudity in the movie. Which would at least partially explain the massive cuts of the Indonesian VCD. OFDB says it's only about an hour long...
I've watched the movie ages ago (some VHS rip probably), but I really can't really remember how violent it was. Any gore?
I'm really curious about what you comparison will reveal.
