I think all the extras are ready as well but there's no release date set yet. ;)

It's been ready for the last couple of years actually. ;)

It hasn't been released because "one sick overweight jerk" made trouble for Bill Olsen by claiming he had the rights for the film. Bill Olsen has all along said he bought the rights from the real rights holders. And now, apparently, he's just not gonna give a shit about this "one sick overweight jerk" (Bill Olsen's words, not mine).

Oh and, how about the German film Magdalena, vom Teufel besessen. It's like a forerunner for the 1982 film the Entity. I have only seen this on Belgian VHS dubbed in French. Is there any good English language release of this wild film?

No. The only English dubbed versions are boots or PD (which to me is the same thing really).

Btw, I bought an English dubbed boot from America. The dvdr was sourced from a VHS and when I compared it with my original German VHS the English dubbed print turned out to be cut! However, it should be noted that there's been several American and Canadian VHS releases and needless to say I don't know if they all carry the cut version.

There's also a Japanse VHS.

A couple of screen grabs from the boot DVD and the German VHS:

These films look great!!

And you have the Indo print of GHOSTLY FACE!!!!! Niiiice!! I wonder if it's any different from the English dubbed print that I have.

Btw, SATAN'S SLAVE is released from BCI. The DVD is now OOP but if you can find it it's a letterboxed and subtitled version. They took the print from the Japanese video tape and the print isn't exactly perfect but at least it's subbed/lbx.

Only possible to send via registered mail.

That's crazy.

Those are cool covers, Tom!

Would it help lower the postage fee if you only enclosed the dvd-r's + the printed covers, but not the case. cases are easy to buy at local shops.

Awesome, Kothar!!

Yattie Octavia, wasn't she also in 5 DEADLY ANGELS?

She was. There's a person with the same name on FB, I wonder if it could be her daughter?

Why would her daughter be called the same as her? Is your dad called Kurt?

:hi:

Intentify Poster/Movie?
Yeah, I know about having things in a MESS.

Those posters look grreat! If you're ever thinking of selling them please let me know.

I'm sure I've checked his stuff long ago too. Unfortonately, he's now listed as "unregistered" on eBay.

Intentify Poster/Movie?
Wauw, that's very interesting, Miltos! I've been trying to find that film for a very long time and so has Andrew Leavold. We both have (other) posters from that film. It's a Filipino/Hong Kong co-production from 1975 and it was released in the Philippines in a Tagalog language version. But in HK it was probably dubbed into Cantonese (and maybe English). None of us have been able to find the film.

I posted our posters and info on my blog:

Do you want to keep that poster? ;)

Have you ever bought anything from this seller Jack?
As I can't even buy it when I click the button according to eBay,China and Asian territories only...

Yes, I have. Several times. It's a girl actually and if you write to her she'll sell it to you directly or put it on one of her other international eBay stores.

I.e. you're just interested in the film's grand finale, you don't care for the rest of the movie. ;)

The last 10 minutes of Sexy Killer is pure greatness. I watch that part whenever I'm feeling down. And then I don't feel down anymore. The rest of the film, to be honest, I can't be bothered to watch again...

You just wanna see the cum shot, you don't care for the lead up - so to speak.

Code Red DVD
LOL. No, I guess not.

I wrote to him and suggested that be just put a sticker on the cover saying it was a shorter version. But he said it was too expensive to buy the stickers and pay someone to put them on the covers.

So I suggested that he just sold the dvd as a direct sale only dvd, and to mention its cut status on the website.

He didn't reply. :ph43r:

The fate of Severed/So Sad is still uncertain though as many fans still want to buy it....

"Uncertain"? The statement from Code Red doesn't seem uncertain to me.

From Code Red:

SEVERED ARM – Money Back Offer

"There have many complaints about the print of THE SEVERED ARM not being uncut on our recent DVD release. We acquired a supposedly uncut UK theatrical print, but unfortunately that print apparently was trimmed of some footage that was part of the uncut US theatrical version. Even though all the violence/gore footage was still intact, some other footage had unfortunately been trimmed in this UK print. Code Red apologizes for the error, and has immediately discontinued the DVD and will not be reissuing this film. Not many units had been sold, but if you bought one and are unhappy with the disc and would like to send it back, just contact us via e-mail and we’ll take it back and refund your money. The title has now been permanently removed from our webstore and is no longer available. We do have other cool movies coming soon, though, so hopefully some will be of interest. Thank you for your continued support."
