Turkish Nazisploitation?
That cover doesn't exactly look like an Ilsa clone to me. ;)

Are these films really naziploitation or more comedies?

You're welcome. It's actually Jim Wynorski's LOST EMPIRE. It's one of my favourite psychotronic films. Obviously I don't know if you're gonna like it but I must have watched it 15 times or so. Wrote a long review of it for my zine once too.á :D
The Danish tape is not something you find every day, I'd say it's fairly rare. But some 5-6 years ago me and a friend stumbled over what we believe was the last remaining stock from Polygram (Denmark)'s old storeroom. I must have found about 10 copies of that tape there. The funny thing is I've never found it anywhere else. Not before and not after.

Is it letterbox?

Nope.

I got the same tape from Jack a while ago and I must say it`s a really cool movie.. I really liked it! Thanks again Jack

You're most welcome.

I don't know if there's anything you can use but one collector in Denmark is selling off a big chunk of his collection here:

http://www.forum.uncut.dk/viewtopic.php?t=2765

(and yes a lot of the titles are in Danish)

If he sells them all :o He never has to work again

Haha, no he wouldn't have to. The problem is just he's in Denmark and there aren't that many vhs collectors as in Sweden or other places. That list has been sitting there for a couple weeks actually. And for some reason he's only selling on Uncut.dk which is a slow board with not very many members. He is a very serious collector tho and he is selling to be able to buy more posters and rare shit. :D

You ought to give it a try.á :ph43r:

Yeah, definitely. I'm very happy with their service.

Yeah, have you ever tried their kebab? Delish! Just a pity they close so early.

What on earth are you talking about?

Amazon! We're talking 'bout Amazon. What's wrong with you, Kurt. You said you went the other night. I'm just saying it's a pity they don't stay open till after midnight.

Amazon is probably one of the best places to purchase stuff from. I have bought hundreds of films, music and books there and have never been ripped off. There's only been one single time when I received a used cd that was in a worse condition than what the seller described it as but that's about it. And that's from years of shopping there. You ought to give it a try. :ph43r:

I'm sure Peter can tell you this much better but I don't think he sold it as such but made a swap with Lars.

Norwegian films

Do they ship to the US? And how much in US$ is 149 kr? Thanks to the all the damned Scandanavians and their damned raving over this film I am very intrigued.

It's approx $25. You can use the Google search bar for money calculations. Just use the official abbreviations or write out the full currencies: i.e.

"149 nok in $" or "149 norwegian kroner in dollars" and then "enter" and you get the amount in dollars (or whichever currency you want).

Unfortunately they don't even ship en Denmark! :( And the Danish branch doesn't carry the dvd it seems. But I've written to them and am trying to get them to stock it. I'm not familiar with eStores in Norway so I don't even know if there are any that ship outside of Scandinavia. Do any of you know?

Norwegian films
DE DěDES TJERN is up for pre-order from Cdon:

And the page states it has Norwegian and English subs. B)

Stolen video art
A friend who is a crime author sent me recently this link to a crime blog that has tons of posts about stolen cover art. Not for video covers mind you but for books! It seems publishing houses re-use the same covers just like video companies.
