Hi there !
I'm le rôdeur from France. Le rôdeur means "the prowler" in french. It's the dubbed name for "the rover", that kind of big mozarella that surveil the village in the Mc Goohan TV series "the prisoner".

I'm a procrastinative writer on nanarland.com , a french website about so bad are good flicks, a place where you can find tons of (french) reviews & bios. Also screencaps and an interview section, mostly in english language.

I like :
- guys with mustaches
- ninjas
- to smash watermelons
- filipino war films
- stock shots
- VHS Sleeves
- other sort of things

I don't like :
- les choux de Bruxelles (dunno the english word for that)

I'm here cause a member of our forum discovered your VHS sleeve section and I would like to post some french material.

Welcome to the forum, le rôdeur :)

I've posted a small thread about the nice NANARLAND site and its interviews here:

Nice ! very kind.

If you like weng weng and filipino stuff, we recently published a long report by Andrew Leavold.

here : One Man’s Insane Search For The Truth Behind The Philippines B Film (yet unfinished, part 2 is coming soon)

Andrew is an aussie B movie fan, owning a VHS shop. A pure hearted man. He flew to the Philippines to meet 80's filipino actors and shoot a film documentary. He offered us this excellent article about cleopatra wong, weng weng etc (Weng passed away a few years ago but Andrew met his family).
