Somebody has probably reported this in some other thread, but for people understanding Spanish or French, the four (not two) Mexican movies announced by CasaNegra but cancelled are available in France. The eight movies released by CasaNegra, plus the four others, and also the "Aztec Mummy" trilogy, were released by Bach Films. The masters are the same than the ones sent to CasaNegra by the Mexican right owners. The movies are in Spanish, with (removable) French subs. Sorry, NO English subs !

The "additional titles" are:
- La cabeza viviente (The Living Head / La tête vivante) - Chano Urueta, 1959
- La marca del muerto (Creature of the Walking Dead / La marque de la mort) - Fernando Cortes, 1960
- El pantano de las animas (Swamp of the Lost Monsters / Le monstre du marécage) - Rafael Baledon, 1956
- El mundo de los vampiros (World of the Vampires / Le monde des vampires) - Alfonso Corona Blake, 1960

Thanks for that piece of info, Sweeney Todd. I like those old Mexican horror movies. Too bad about the absence of Eng. subs. So much good stuff comes out in France! If Mike is reading this it would be good if he could tell us what's going to happen with those CasaNegra titles (if he knows)? Will they ever come out?

Today it's the 25th of April, 2009. Sweeney Todd (Jean-Claude) wrote his post on the 23. of April 2008!!

He is not back and he doesn't answer his emails or PMs. I've asked around and nobody knows anything.

Dead as a zombie with his head blown off. And the old releases are going out of print and some of them are rapidly becoming expensive on Amazon now.
