I bought it from Eastern Records in Malaysia. I bought 3 dvds and the total came to 45 RM ($14!!). The postage came to 88 RM ($27) !!! So that's around $40 which wouldn't be too bad a deal at any store in the west but quite expensive from an eShop in Asia. So I recommend you get it from Sensasian (the only reason I ordered it from there is that one of the other films, Sundal Bolong, isn't available anywhere else). Personally I buy most of my Asian stuff from Hong Kong but I thought I'd just mention that Tartan UK has just closed down: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...72254c60a000cc6 Jack |

An auction for a film, which on Greek video is called WOLFEN NINJA, just finished over at Deathland. The film is directed by Pearl Cheung and is obviously the same film as the one I have which is called WOLF DEVIL WOMAN in Hong Kong. But I was just wondering if this is the same version or a westernised version that differs from the HK print?? Does any of you know?? (and congrats to whoever outbid me <_< ) WOLF DEVIL WOMAN Hong Kong vcd ![]() And it's really a shame this film hasn't received a proper dvd release. It's one of the wildest, craziest and most enjoyable Hong Kong films I've seen!! Jack |

You're right!!! I just looked it up at the Hong Kong Movie Data Base (hkmdb) and there it is!! All these aka-titles!! I actually have this films!! I just didn't know it because my HK vcd is called MATCHING ESCORT. http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=9...display_set=eng Thanks for the suggestion, Pete. There are actually three films in the series: WOLF DEVIL WOMAN MATCHING ESCORT aka Wolf Devil Woman 2 / Venus the Ninja / Venus the Ninja Wolf / Wolfen Ninja MIRACULOUS FLOWER aka Wolf Devil Woman 3 / Phoenix The Ninja Jack |

Jack, you're right about the trilogy. All tapes have Greek VHS releases. However just because there are VENUS THE NINJA and PHOENIX THE NINJA (exact titles on Greek VHS) I beleive this is the first one, WOLF DEVIL WOMAN. By the way my congratulations for that MAGIC CURSE beta I couldn't beat you on that (in fact I finnished third)

Really? If that's correct it's quite confusing because in the Hong Kong Movie Data Base the sequel is listed as being aka Wolfen Ninja.
Thanks Miltos!!! ![]() About THE MAGIC CURSE: I'm very exited about this purchase!!! I had been keeping an eye on that auction all week and just sat in the dark and waited, and waited, and waited. :ph43r: Obviously I DID see that someone else had made a bid very early on but I was hoping no one else would find the auction since it was for a Betamax tape. I guess in the end there were one other bidder. What can I say... I just reeeealy wanted this and I never thought I'd find an original. I knew about the film cos Lars Jacobsen sent me a copy and, oh man, it's just such a wild film! I'm very happy about winning this (and buying it means I couldn't really make bids for Wolfen Ninja. I'm not made of money you know! Here's the auction scan: ![]() Jack |

I don't know, Peter. And here's another auction that I took part in at an early stage but which ended at the wrong side of 100 bucks: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...EOIBUAA:US:1123 Of course, you can get the film on HK vcd for 5 dollars and it's even subtitled (which this tape isn't). But I guess that's not what it's about  Jack |
